Asset listings process
BitGo adheres to a structured and audit-ready process for evaluating and supporting digital assets across custody, wallet, staking, and other infrastructure products.
Our cross-functional teams—including Product Ops, Engineering, Compliance, and Sales—review and prioritize all asset requests using a comprehensive due diligence framework covering legal, technical, and business criteria.
Each asset is evaluated for client demand, regulatory and custody risk, business value, and ease of integration across BitGo infrastructure.
Legal and compliance considerations are deeply integrated into our process, including review of whether tokens confer shareholder-like rights, profit-sharing structures, or obligations to redeem.
Approved assets undergo full technical integration, testing, and enablement across relevant BitGo products, including cold and hot custody, self-custody wallets, and staking.
All supported assets are subject to ongoing oversight, and high-risk tokens are reviewed annually. Assets can be regionally gated or delisted in line with compliance or business needs.
Asset issuers, ecosystem partners, and institutional clients are welcome to request listing consideration via our Token Support Intake Form. For a full view of supported digital assets and features, visit our Developer Portal.
